Job Profile: IT BizTalk Developer
Location: Chennai, India
Preferred experience: - 5+ years
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced IT BizTalk Developer to join the Sydney development team. The role will focus on developing, enhancing, and maintaining integration solutions using Microsoft BizTalk Server, C#, .NET, SQL Server, XML, and XSLT.
The successful candidate will work closely with business analysts, developers, project managers, and support teams across Chennai, Sydney, and Wellington to understand requirements, design effective solutions, develop and test applications, and support deployment into production.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and deliver integration solutions using BizTalk Server.
· Design and develop BizTalk schemas, maps, interfaces, and related integration components.
· Develop and maintain applications and interfaces using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework.
· Develop and optimize SQL Server components including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and database solutions.
· Work with XML and XSLT for data transformation and integration.
· Understand business requirements and translate them into appropriate technical solutions.
· Work with business analysts, end users, developers, and technical teams to design effective solutions.
· Prepare and maintain analysis and design documentation.
· Provide accurate estimates for development tasks and projects.
· Perform coding, unit testing, system testing, and integration testing.
· Participate in peer code reviews and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
· Prepare solutions for deployment and document deployment and change procedures.
· Coordinate with environment management teams for testing, UAT, and production deployments.
· Ensure appropriate approvals and sign-offs are obtained before production deployment.
· Provide effective handover of solutions to support and service delivery teams.
· Consider monitoring, maintenance, housekeeping, and disaster recovery requirements as part of solution design.
· Identify technical risks and issues and communicate them to management with appropriate mitigation plans.
· Provide regular updates on project and task progress.
· Work effectively with teams and stakeholders across international time zones.
· Follow defined security, development, project, and global/local standards.
· Contribute to improving BizTalk development standards, methodologies, and team capabilities.
Must - Have Qualifications:
· 5+ years of software development experience.
· Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server, preferably BizTalk Server 2013.
· Strong experience in BizTalk schemas, maps, interfaces, and orchestrations.
· Strong understanding of BizTalk ESB Toolkit.
· Strong experience with XML and XSLT.
· Strong experience with MS SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
· Hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework.
· Experience with technical analysis and design documentation.
· Working experience with Agile methodology.
· Experience with software development and integration lifecycle processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Exposure to Azure DevOps.
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
· Exposure to SSIS and SSRS.
· Experience in financial services or banking environments.
· Exposure to Funds Management or related financial domains.
· Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
