BI Developer

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced BI Developer to design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, build reliable data models and dashboards, and ensure decision-makers have access to accurate and meaningful information.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain BI dashboards, reports and data visualisations
Build and optimise data models, datasets and reporting solutions
Extract, transform and load data from multiple sources
Write and optimise SQL queries
Work with stakeholders to understand business and reporting requirements
Develop automated reporting and data processes
Ensure data accuracy, quality and consistency
Troubleshoot and improve BI solutions and reporting performance
Translate complex data into clear business insights
Document BI processes, data models and reporting solutions
Collaborate with developers, analysts and business teams
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years' experience as a BI Developer / Business Intelligence Developer
Strong hands-on SQL experience
Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports
Strong understanding of data modelling and databases
Experience with ETL / data transformation processes
Understanding of data warehousing concepts
Experience working with multiple data sources
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
Able to work independently in a fully remote environment

Azure / Microsoft Fabric experience is advantageous

IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is a hands-on BI Developer who can take a business reporting requirement from initial discussion through to a fully functional dashboard or BI solution. You should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple deliverables and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
