About Position:
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and AI-enabled testing solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks, driving quality engineering initiatives, implementing AI-assisted testing capabilities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. This role requires hands-on experience in web and API automation, modern testing practices, CI/CD integration, and the adoption of AI tools to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.

What You'll Do:
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, and enterprise applications.
Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright and other modern automation tools.
Implement AI-assisted testing solutions for test case generation, script creation, defect prediction, and test optimization.
Build and maintain API automation frameworks using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent technologies.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster releases.
Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
Review and validate AI-generated test cases, automation scripts, and defect analysis outputs.
Leverage AI-powered tools to identify failure patterns, quality risks, and root causes of defects.
Optimize self-healing automation frameworks to reduce test maintenance efforts and improve reliability.
Participate in test strategy development, sprint planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.
Support release readiness reviews and quality gate assessments.
Evaluate emerging AI-enabled testing tools and recommend innovative solutions for quality engineering.
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices across teams.
Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including developers, product owners, DevOps teams, and business analysts.
Expertise You'll Bring:
5-8 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and modern test automation frameworks.
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
Extensive experience in API testing and automation.
Strong understanding of test design techniques, defect lifecycle management, and quality assurance principles.
Experience with GitHub Copilot, AI-driven testing tools, self-healing frameworks, or similar AI-enabled solutions.
Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques for generating test scenarios, scripts, test data, and edge cases.
Understanding of responsible AI practices, including validation of AI outputs, privacy considerations, and hallucination risks.
Experience working within Agile development environments.
Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience using Git or similar version control systems.
Knowledge of AWS services and testing applications deployed in AWS environments.
Familiarity with Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or equivalent test management tools.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to lead automation initiatives and drive continuous quality improvements.
