Job Description: Packaging Design Engineer
Position: Packaging Design Engineer
Level : L3 (3 to 6 years)
Department: Packaging Engineering / Product Development
Shift Timing- UK Shift
Job Summary
Responsible for designing, developing, validating, and maintaining packaging solutions for serial production parts throughout the product lifecycle.
Ensure packaging meets quality, cost, logistics, safety, manufacturing, and customer requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
Knowledge of packaging materials, design standards, and logistics requirements.
Understanding of DFMEA, DVP&R, APQP, PPAP, and Change Management processes.
Experience with CAD tools (NX, CATIA,etc.).
Familiarity with automotive or manufacturing packaging systems.
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
Good communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Experience with PLM systems Teamcenter and engineering documentation.
