Area Sales Manager - Midwest

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Area Sales Manager - Midwest based in the United States.
The Area Sales Manager will own sales growth and customer development across a multi-state Midwest territory.
You’ll manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through technical solution development, quotations, orders, and account management.
The role combines consultative selling with technical expertise in motion-control technologies, including motors, drives, lead screws, and linear actuators.
You’ll build lasting relationships with customers while partnering closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other internal teams.
You’ll also identify new market opportunities, develop leads, support industry events, and contribute to territory forecasting and growth strategies.
This is a highly autonomous, customer-facing position suited to a proactive sales professional who enjoys solving technical challenges and driving results.
The role covers Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ontario, Canada, with frequent travel and occasional overnight stays.
