Senior Automation Tester (Java)

Responsibilities
Formulate and execute testing approaches that stay in step with project timelines and delivery targets
Uncover, document, and track problems from discovery through complete resolution, working in close partnership with developers
Assess product requirements and specifications to determine the proper scope and thoroughness of testing
Develop and maintain resilient, adaptable testing infrastructure suited to evolving project needs
Convert testing results into straightforward, practical reports shared with appropriate stakeholders
Take part in sprint planning and workload estimation, keeping a quality-first mindset throughout
Routinely review and strengthen current testing techniques to boost speed and expand coverage
Partner with teams across various functions to preserve consistent quality standards throughout development
Investigate production incidents to trace root causes and implement measures to avoid repeat occurrences
Support junior team members' growth by sharing effective methods and offering continued mentorship
Requirements
More than three years of hands-on, relevant experience as an Automation Tester focused on Java
Strong proficiency in Java applied toward developing and maintaining automated test scripts
Practical background using Java-based tooling built for automating web UI test processes
Background creating automated test coverage for web services and API endpoints
Familiarity with version control platforms for tracking and managing code revisions
Deep understanding of the structural and design principles behind test automation frameworks
Hands-on experience implementing BDD frameworks within a Java-based setting
Effective communication skills paired with working English fluency at B2 level or higher, supporting clear translation of business needs into technical outcomes
