SP3D Piping Designer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SP3D Piping Designer role based in Tughlakabad. The SP3D Piping Designer will develop and modify piping layouts and models using SP3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other relevant tools. Responsibilities include preparing piping drawings and isometrics, coordinating with engineers and other designers, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. The role involves reviewing and integrating plant layout information, performing clash detection, and supporting design reviews and documentation. The designer will also maintain organized project files, use MS Office for reports and schedules, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.
Qualifications
Experience in Piping Design and Piping for industrial facilities, including refineries or similar process plants.
Skills in Plant Layout, with the ability to interpret and develop 2D and 3D layouts for complex facilities.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, such as SP3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and related software.
Strong ability to read and understand engineering drawings, P&IDs, and equipment layouts.
Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience as a piping designer in an industrial or refinery environment.
Good knowledge of applicable standards and codes for piping and plant design.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary project teams.
Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a structured approach to documentation and revision control.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Tughlakabad and manage project timelines and priorities.
