JIC Wealth is a boutique wealth management firm with an 18+ year track record of advising 1,000+ high-net-worth individuals and families.
Why this role exists
Most finance content is either too dull to read or too loud to trust. We want ours to be neither. As our Social Media Intern, you'll help turn what we see in markets and in client conversations every day into content that is clear, useful, and worth following.
What you'll work on
Planning and producing content for LinkedIn (Instagram and YouTube are in the pipeline)
Creating posts, carousels, reels and short videos on investing, markets and personal finance
Editing reels and short-form videos, including cuts, captions, subtitles and thumbnails
Using AI tools to research, draft, and sharpen content faster
Spotting market moments and online trends we can respond to quickly
Managing comments and messages with a professional, helpful tone
Keeping our content calendar on track and consistent with our brand voice
Tracking what performs and suggesting what to do more (or less) of
What we're looking for
A student or recent graduate in Marketing, Mass Media, Business, Finance, or a related field
Basic financial knowledge: you understand concepts like inflation, interest rates, savings, and how markets broadly work
Investment knowledge is a plus: familiarity with mutual funds, SIPs, equities, or portfolio basics will help you hit the ground running
Strong writing that can adapt to different tones, whether it's a professional LinkedIn post, a casual Instagram caption, or writing in someone else's voice
Hands-on video editing skills using tools like CapCut, InShot, Premiere Pro or similar
Comfort with Canva (or similar) and AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude
A good sense of what works on each platform
Organised, self-driven and happy to take feedback
