Senior QA Lead

Focused on improving operational efficiency, capacity and customer experience through technology. As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a QA Engineer to support quality assurance activities and help ensure software products meet agreed quality, reliability and performance requirements.
Quality Assurance & Testing
Apply QA processes, testing approaches and quality standards across projects.
Develop and maintain test strategies and test plans aligned to project requirements.
Perform manual testing and identify opportunities for automation.
Create and maintain automated test suites across digital products.
Prioritise testing activities based on business impact and risk.
Support testing activities throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
Participate in code reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with designers, developers, Product Owners and business stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Document quality-related processes, test approaches and outcomes.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and team development activities.
Essential Experience
7+ years' experience in software quality assurance.
Experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience using testing frameworks and tools such as Playwright, WDIO, Cypress or Appium.
Experience with Typescript and/or JavaScript for test automation.
Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps and test management platforms such as TestRail or Zephyr.
Experience performing API testing.
Experience using Git and GitHub workflows.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while aligning with team standards and delivery practices.
Communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Experience
Experience with K6, JMeter or other performance-testing platforms.
Knowledge of Azure services and cloud environments.
Experience testing microservice-based architectures.
Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced colleagues.
Agile or DevOps certifications such as Scrum Master or Cloud Foundations.
Experience delivering mobile test automation with Appium.
