Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an AI Engineer. The AI Engineer will design, build, and deploy AI models and systems that power Medra’s multi-channel customer engagement platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing pattern recognition and neural network models, implementing NLP pipelines, and integrating AI capabilities into production-grade software. The role involves collaborating with product, engineering, and commercial teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions, monitoring model performance, and iterating on algorithms based on data-driven insights. The AI Engineer will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and best practices for model governance, reliability, and fairness.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and scalable system design.
Proficiency in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, with experience training, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models.
Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), including text classification, intent detection, and conversational AI.
Experience with common AI/ML tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn) and modern development practices (version control, testing, CI/CD).
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team, with clear communication and collaborative problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with deploying models to cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and working with APIs and microservices is beneficial.
Experience building customer-facing or enterprise AI solutions, especially in multi-channel or multilingual contexts, is a plus.
