Bow Barracks is looking for a freelance animation artist / animator to collaborate on an upcoming music video for one of our original songs. We are looking for someone with a strong individual visual style who can interpret music creatively and turn a song into an engaging animated narrative. The project will allow considerable creative freedom, and we are particularly interested in artists who enjoy working with independent music, alternative visual styles, hand-drawn animation, 2D animation, experimental animation, collage, mixed media, or vintage-inspired aesthetics.
Scope of Work
Develop the visual concept in consultation with Bow Barracks
Create storyboard / visual treatment for the song
Animate and produce the complete music video
Work with the rhythm, mood and lyrical themes of the track
Deliver the final video in suitable formats for YouTube and social media
Who We’re Looking For
An independent animator or visual artist with a distinctive portfolio and a genuine interest in music-driven storytelling. Formal qualifications are not important — your work, ideas and visual language matter more to us.
This is a paid freelance assignment. Fees, production schedule and delivery timeline will be discussed based on the proposed concept and scope of work.

About Bow Barracks
Bow Barracks is an independent rock collective working primarily on original music and collaborating with artists from different places and creative disciplines. We are interested in making music videos that have their own artistic identity rather than simply functioning as conventional promotional content.
