Design Intern – 2D/3D & International Competitions

Role Description The Design Intern – 2D/3D & International Competitions is an internship role with remote work arrangements. The intern will support the design team by creating 2D and 3D visual concepts for packaging mock-ups, comps, and prototypes, and assisting in the preparation of submissions for international design competitions. Daily tasks include developing graphic layouts, refining design assets, conducting research on trends and competition requirements, and collaborating on concept development for client and internal projects. The intern will work closely with senior designers to translate design briefs into compelling visual solutions and maintain organized project files. The role may also involve preparing presentation materials, updating design documentation, and contributing ideas to improve design workflows and outcomes.
Qualifications
Strong visual design foundations with skills in Graphic Design and Graphics.
Ability to conduct Research to support concept development, trend analysis, and competition entries.
Understanding of spatial design principles and basic knowledge of Architecture or structural design as they relate to packaging.
Proficiency or coursework in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools relevant to 2D/3D packaging and prototyping.
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Comfort working remotely, with strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to follow design briefs and feedback.
Familiarity with standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent) is highly beneficial.
Interest in international design competitions, packaging innovation, and sustainable design solutions.
