Chief Creative Officer (CCO)
1. Position Overview
The chief creative officer is responsible for formulating and leading the company's overall creative strategy and transforming brand strategy, product innovation, marketing, user experience and corporate culture into creative results with impact and commercial value.
This position is typically responsible for establishing unified creative standards and brand expression systems, leading creative, design, content, brand and related teams, and working closely with the CEO, CMO, product, sales, technology and business departments to drive brand influence, customer experience and business growth.
2. Main responsibilities
1. Corporate creative strategy
Develop the company's overall creative strategy and long-term creative development direction.
Translate corporate strategy, brand positioning and business objectives into creative strategies.
Establish enterprise-level creative concepts, visual language and content standards.
Ensure creative work is aligned with overall company strategy.
2. Brand creativity and brand building
Lead the construction of corporate brand image, brand story and brand expression system.
Oversee brand visual identity, advertising creative and brand content.
Ensure consistent brand experience across markets and business lines.
Promote brand innovation and long-term accumulation of brand assets.
3. Creative content management
Lead creative advertising, digital content, social media, video and marketing content.
Develop content creative direction and content quality standards.
Oversee the creative execution of large-scale marketing campaigns and branding projects.
Drive optimization of content production processes and creative resources.
4. Product and user experience innovation
Work with product and technical teams to integrate ideas into product development.
Drive user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) innovation.
Find new product ideas from customer needs and market trends.
Participate in the creative design of key products, services and digital experiences.
5. Creative project leadership
Responsible for the overall direction of major brand, marketing and creative projects.
Determine project creative concept, visual direction and execution standards.
Manage time, budget and resources for creative projects.
Ensure creative projects are completed on schedule and with high quality.
6. Market and consumer insights
Analyze consumer behavior, cultural trends and market changes.
Turn market research and customer insights into creative opportunities.
Pay attention to your competitors’ branding and creative strategies.
Promote decision-making that combines data and creativity.
7. Cross-departmental collaboration
Collaborate with CMOs, CPOs, CTOs, sales and business leaders.
Support product launches, market expansion and commercial growth projects.
Connect creative teams with business, technology and operations teams.
Resolve resource and execution issues in cross-departmental creative projects.
8. Creative team leadership
Build and manage creative, design, content and brand teams.
Recruit, develop and develop senior creative talent.
Establish a creative talent evaluation and performance management system.
Create a team culture of innovation, collaboration and high-quality execution.
9. Creative suppliers and external agency management
Manage advertising agencies, design companies, production companies and creative consultants.
Evaluate the capabilities and project outcomes of external creative partners.
Manage budgets and contracts for external creative resources.
Build a stable network of creative partners.
10. Creative innovation and trend management
Keep an eye on design, advertising, artificial intelligence, digital media and cultural trends.

11. Creative quality and brand management
Establish enterprise-level creative review and quality standards.

12. High-level strategic support
Provide brand and creative strategy advice to CEO and management.

3. Job requirements
Bachelor degree or above in marketing, brand management, design, advertising, communication, art, business or related majors.
Have extensive brand, creative, design, marketing or content management experience.
Have experience in creative strategic management of large enterprises or international brands.
Familiar with brand building, advertising creative, digital marketing and user experience.
Have strong business understanding and ability to combine creativity with business goals.
Experience in managing large-scale cross-department projects.
Have excellent team management and talent development capabilities.
Ability to communicate strategically with CEO, CMO and other senior management.
Applicants familiar with digital media, AI, design tools and modern content production technologies will be preferred.
