Role Description
This is a full-time HR Recruiter role based in Bangalore, responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment as we build out our India team. The role is remote to begin with and will move on-site once our Bangalore office opens, currently in setup. Some overlap with US business hours is required for coordination with the leadership team.
Day-to-day tasks include partnering with hiring managers to understand role requirements, drafting and posting job descriptions, and sourcing candidates through online platforms, professional networks, and referrals. The HR Recruiter will screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, coordinate interviews with hiring teams, and support selection and offer processes. The role also involves maintaining candidate pipelines, tracking recruitment metrics, ensuring a fair and consistent hiring process, and contributing to employer branding and candidate experience. As an early hire on the India team, you'll also help set up onboarding and basic HR processes as the team grows.
Compensation: ₹70,000–₹80,000 per month
Qualifications
2–4 years of recruitment experience, preferably agency-side or in-house at a digital marketing, IT services, or startup organization
Proven ability to close hires independently — sourcing through offer, not just interview coordination
Comfort hiring across marketing, content, design, and entry-level development roles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging candidates, collaborating with hiring managers, and representing the company professionally
Organizational and time-management skills to run multiple open roles at once and meet hiring timelines
Hands-on with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, LinkedIn sourcing, and Indian job boards
Ability to apply fair and consistent hiring practices
Analytical skills to interpret recruitment data, optimize sourcing strategies, and improve hiring effectiveness
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate before the office opens
