Role Summary
TSP's HCM Technology practice is hiring a mid-level SAP Integration Developer to build and support integration flows across SAP HCM/SuccessFactors and connected systems. This is the intermediate counterpart to our Senior Integration Developer role: we are looking for a solid, independent hands-on developer not an architect and not a first-job junior who can take a defined integration requirement and build, test, and support it with light supervision.
Two technical pillars are non-negotiable: ABAP development and SAP Cloud Integration (CPI / Integration Suite), both applied in an HCM / SuccessFactors context. Candidates who are strong in one pillar but only conceptually familiar with the other are not a fit for this req.
Key Responsibilities
Build, test, and maintain integration flows (iFlows) in SAP Cloud Integration / Integration Suite
Write Groovy scripts for message mapping, transformation, and custom logic within iFlows
Develop and support SuccessFactors integrations, including OData API and REST/SFAPI-based interfaces
Develop, enhance, and debug ABAP objects on SAP HCM / ECP reports, user exits/BAdIs, function modules, and interface programs
Build and maintain SOAP-based connections and IDoc-based interfaces between SAP and third-party systems
Support integrations between SuccessFactors and SAP HCM/ERP and downstream systems (payroll, benefits, time, ATS, data warehouses)
Configure and troubleshoot integration security artifacts (certificates, OAuth, credentials) under guidance from the senior developer/architect
Monitor integration flows, triage and resolve errors, and escalate what needs design-level decisions
Support integration testing cycles and cutover activities for HR data loads and migrations
Document integration specifications, mappings, and technical designs
Required Qualifications (Must-Have)
3+ years hands-on SAP Cloud Integration (CPI / Integration Suite) development building and supporting iFlows in production, not shadowing or monitoring only
Hands-on ABAP development experience hard requirement. Real development (reports, BAdIs/user exits, function modules, interface programs), not config-only or read-only exposure. HR ABAP (infotypes, PNP/PNPCE) is a strong plus
Hands-on SAP SuccessFactors integration experience at least one integration built or substantially supported end-to-end, with the API and data objects nameable
Experience working on HCM SAP solutions (SuccessFactors and/or on-prem SAP HCM / ECP) general non-HR CPI experience does not substitute
Groovy scripting for iFlow mapping and transformation
Hands-on experience with OData APIs and REST APIs
Hands-on experience with SOAP connections and IDocs
Fluent English hard requirement, no exceptions
Proactive, self-learning working style able to own a defined requirement end-to-end with light supervision
