Senior Construction Litigation Attorney

Kubicki Draper is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Litigation Attorney with 7+ years of litigation experience to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling complex construction-related disputes and managing matters through all phases of litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney looking to take a lead role on cases while working in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Requirements
7+ years of litigation experience, with a strong background in construction litigation
Experience handling matters involving construction defects, contractor and subcontractor disputes, property damage, contract disputes, and related claims preferred
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Significant experience handling discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and motion practice
Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
Strong organizational and case-management skills
Commitment to providing exceptional client service
Active member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
Your Day-to-Day
Manage complex construction litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution
Develop case strategy and provide clients with clear recommendations regarding exposure, defenses, and resolution options
Draft and argue substantive motions, pleadings, and discovery
Take and defend depositions
Attend hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings
Work with experts, consultants, contractors, and other professionals throughout the litigation process
Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case developments and strategy
Mentor and collaborate with junior attorneys and members of the litigation team
