Role Description The iOS Developer will work on a contract basis in a remote capacity, collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build and enhance iOS applications that integrate with Arsec’s product ecosystem. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing new features, maintaining and optimizing existing mobile applications, and ensuring clean, efficient, and well-documented code. The role involves participating in code reviews, troubleshooting and resolving bugs, integrating APIs and third-party services, and contributing to app performance, security, and usability improvements. The iOS Developer will also help refine technical requirements, support releases to the App Store, and stay current with iOS best practices and platform updates.
Qualifications
Strong skills in iOS Development, including experience with Swift and/or Objective-C, and familiarity with the iOS ecosystem.
Experience in Mobile Application Development and building production-ready Mobile Applications for the App Store.
Solid Software Development fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and version control (e.g., Git).
Ability to work effectively in a remote, contract setting, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs, handling JSON, and working with backend services.
Knowledge of UI/UX principles for mobile, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, and responsive design for different device sizes.
Familiarity with testing frameworks, debugging tools, and performance optimization for iOS applications.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
