DevOps Engineer

Role Description The DevOps Engineer will work in a remote, contract capacity to build, maintain, and optimize infrastructure and deployment pipelines for Arsec’s product suite. Typical responsibilities include designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code, managing CI/CD workflows, and collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of new features. The role involves administering Linux-based systems, monitoring performance, and resolving infrastructure issues to ensure reliability, scalability, and security. The DevOps Engineer will also contribute to automation initiatives, refine operational processes, and support incident response and root-cause analysis.
Qualifications
Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills and experience automating cloud or on-premises environments.
Solid Software Development experience in scripting or programming languages commonly used in DevOps (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and deployment pipelines using modern CI/CD tools.
Proficient System Administration skills with a focus on Linux-based operating systems.
Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and security best practices in distributed systems.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and comfort working independently in a remote setup.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
