We are a small and growing team, and now we need someone to keep our finances in order.
What you will do:
Handle day to day bookkeeping and record keeping
Process invoices, payments and expense reports
Prepare and file VAT returns in line with UAE FTA requirements (5% VAT)
Assist with UAE Corporate Tax compliance (9% regime)
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
Track payments to and from clients and partners
Prepare simple monthly financial reports for management
Keep documentation organized and audit ready
Flag any discrepancies or unusual transactions early
What we are looking for:
Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field
1 to 3 years of accounting experience, UAE experience is a plus
Working knowledge of UAE VAT and basic Corporate Tax rules
Confident with Excel and at least one accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally or similar)
Attention to detail and ability to meet filing deadlines
Good written and spoken English
Self organized and reliable, since the role is fully remote
You do not need to be a senior finance expert for this role. If you know the basics well and do your work carefully and on time, we want to hear from you.
