This is a fully remote job to cover Yorkshire area based in Leeds.
We are looking for a motivated Field Technician to join our technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career who has a genuine interest in technology, IT, and gaming, but does not require previous industry experience.
You will receive full training for the role and ongoing support from a dedicated mentor engineer, helping you build hands-on technical skills and confidence in the field.
Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of technical equipment on major retailer POS & IT equipment
Learn to diagnose and resolve issues under the guidance of experienced engineers
Provide friendly, professional on-site support to customers
Develop practical IT and hardware knowledge through structured training and real-world experience
Configures and installs applicable software
Performs routine checks according to documented procedures
Assists with special projects as assigned
Qualifications
A strong interest in technology, IT, or gaming
At least 1 year of experience
Willingness to learn and get hands-on with technical equipment
Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
Reliability and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Have a full clean UK driving licence
