Sr Project Manager

Job Description
Lead the global standardization, governance, stewardship, and continuous improvement of HBS Operations data, with explicit ownership of SMS data and its integration across connected business systems.
As part of the Global Systems, Process & Data Excellence Team, this role develops and executes the strategy required to deploy global data governance across HBS Operations business systems, including SMS, CPQ, Salesforce, NEX SMS, PMIS, and related platforms. The position is accountable for improving data fidelity, business performance, field execution, operational productivity, and data-driven decision-making through effective management of master and transactional data.
Responsibilities
Serve as the overall Data Product Owner and Data Program Manager for HBS Operations.
Serve as the Data Product Owner for SMS, ensuring global governance, stewardship, and continuous improvement of SMS data.
Lead a high-performing global team of data owners, data stewards, process owners, and project managers that drives data quality, data fidelity, process standardization, and common tools.
Develop, execute, and govern the Global HBS Operations Data Governance Roadmap, ensuring priorities are understood, tracked, communicated, and continuously improved.
Lead global SMS data activities, including short-term data cleansing and long-term data enrichment, stewardship, standards definition, and lifecycle management.
Act as the business focal point for SMS data and maintain a comprehensive understanding of master and transactional data flows across CPQ, Salesforce, NEX SMS, PMIS, and related systems.
Ensure consistent data governance support across all geographies through leadership of a global network of Data Stewards.
Ensure that business benefits from data excellence initiatives are defined, measured, achieved, sustained, and improved.
Partner with Common Processes & Systems teams across SBUs and LOBs, General Managers, HBS Operations Marketing, HBS Operations Digitization, IT, and other global stakeholders to standardize data governance processes.
Establish metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and performance-management routines to monitor data fidelity, governance effectiveness, and operational performance, and drive corrective actions where required.
Evaluate, align, and optimize global data resources to strengthen organizational effectiveness and identify additional capability or resource needs.
Build and develop a talented, engaged, and accountable global team with clearly defined objectives and measurable outcomes.
Qualifications
Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
ITIL Foundation and/or ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation certification.
Strong understanding of GDPR and global data privacy requirements.
Deep knowledge of HBS Operations processes, systems, tools, metrics, and operational workflows.
Strong knowledge of enterprise business systems and data flows, including SMS, CPQ, Salesforce, NEX SMS, PMIS, and associated integrations.
Strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to obtain relevant information from multiple sources, recognize trends and cause-and-effect relationships, and translate insights into action.
Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformation and change through leadership, collaboration, and influence.
Strong business and financial acumen, including understanding of Contracts, SPOT, Service projects, and other Project and Service revenue-generating activities.
Understanding of digital operations, cybersecurity threats, and related solutions.
Strong and decisive leadership style, with the credibility to engage internal customers and all levels of management.
Self-motivated, hands-on, results-focused, and able to maintain urgency and effectiveness through obstacles and setbacks.
Ability to translate customer needs, requirements, and preferences into practical solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across customer, technical, process, production, purchasing, and leadership audiences.
