Role Description The Chief Financial Officer is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. This position leads the finance team, ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, and provides strategic guidance to the executive leadership on business performance and risk management. Day-to-day activities include reviewing financial statements, optimizing capital structure, monitoring key financial metrics, and implementing internal controls and compliance procedures. The CFO will partner with other leaders to support strategic initiatives, evaluate investments, improve operational efficiency, and communicate financial insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance and Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive sound business decisions.
Proficiency in Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
Experience preparing, reviewing, and managing Financial Statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
Expertise in Financial Reporting, including regulatory reporting, management reports, and presentations to leadership and investors.
Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, ideally as a CFO or equivalent, in growth-oriented organizations.
Thorough understanding of accounting principles, compliance, and internal controls; CPA, CFA, or equivalent credential is beneficial.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is an advantage.
