Role Description The Regional Manager Sales – Lithium Batteries is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This position is responsible for driving sales and business growth for lithium battery and supercapacitor products across an assigned region. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and industrial customers in robotics, drones, and related sectors. The role involves preparing and delivering product presentations, negotiating commercial terms, and collaborating with technical teams to align solutions with customer needs. The Regional Manager will track market trends, develop regional sales plans, forecast revenue, and maintain accurate CRM records while coordinating with internal stakeholders on pricing, deliveries, and customer support.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in regional or territory sales management, preferably in batteries, energy storage, electronics, or industrial products.
Strong skills in customer relationship management, account management, and business development within B2B environments.
Knowledge of lithium battery technologies, supercapacitors, or related electrochemical products; ability to understand technical specifications and applications.
Proficiency in sales planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and use of CRM tools or similar sales software.
Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical solutions in clear business terms.
Ability to work on-site, travel within the region, and manage multiple customer engagements and projects simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent commercial qualification is an advantage.
Prior experience selling to robotics, drone, automation, or high-tech industrial segments is highly beneficial.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance improvement.
