Role Description The Telecommunications Engineer at NEXU VOICE is a part-time remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications and VoIP systems that support clients’ communication needs. Day-to-day tasks include configuring network and voice infrastructure, monitoring system performance, and diagnosing technical issues to ensure reliable service. The role involves providing technical support to internal teams and clients, documenting system configurations, and assisting with upgrades or integration projects. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align telecom solutions with security, hosting, and CRM platforms, while adhering to best practices and industry standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Telecommunications Systems and Voice over IP (VoIP).
Candidates should possess skills in Network Design and related infrastructure planning.
Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for telecom and network environments.
Relevant experience with SIP, PBX systems, and cloud-based telephony platforms is beneficial.
Knowledge of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, QoS) and security best practices is preferred.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Degree or equivalent experience in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or a related technical field is advantageous.
