We have an opportunity an Emergency Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician to join our team in Waihi!
This is a permanent role working a 4 x 4 DDNN roster.
In this role you will:
Work alongside a qualified Ambulance Officer
Drive the ambulance and assist with the delivery of patient care
Ensure operational readiness of vehicle and equipment
Complete other relevant administrative tasks
Ko wai koe - About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A current St John Authority to Practice (ATP) at First Responder or EMT
Excellent operational and clinical performance to date
Excellent driving record
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others
The ability to work under pressure as part of a team
Evidence of CCE
New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency or work visa
Demonstrated behaviours that align with Hato Hone St John's core values - Do the right thing (Mahi Tika), Side by Side (Tū Tahi), Straight Up (Mahi Pono), Make it better (Whakapai Ake), Open Minds (Whakaaro Nui)
