Role Description The Lead Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing furniture projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Daily tasks include managing project schedules, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, organizing inspections, and tracking materials and shipments to ensure timely delivery. The Lead Project Manager will monitor project progress, identify and resolve risks or delays, optimize logistics, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. This position also involves preparing status reports, maintaining documentation, and driving continuous improvement in project execution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including project planning, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to monitor orders, follow up with suppliers, and resolve delays in materials or services.
Candidates should possess Inspection skills to verify product quality, compliance with specifications, and readiness for delivery or installation.
Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to oversee transportation, warehousing, and on-time delivery of furniture items.
Relevant experience in furniture, manufacturing, construction, or interior projects is beneficial.
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in project documentation and reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
