User Experience Researcher

We are looking for a User Researcher II to drive end-to-end research within an assigned charter — selecting appropriate methodologies, synthesising qual and quant inputs, and beginning to build cross-team partnerships that ensure research shapes product and business decisions. This role operates with growing independence; manager support is available but not the default.
Must-have
2–4 years of hands-on research experience; drives end-to-end projects with some manager support.
Selects and executes appropriate methodologies for complex problems — not just evaluative research.
Strong qual depth: independently plans, recruits, facilitates, and synthesises. Insights tied to product and design action.
Integrates qual and quant data (analytics, surveys, behavioural data) into synthesis with manager's help.
Proactively engages with PMs to scope and prioritise research; doesn't wait to be directed.
Good to have
Consumer or marketplace product company background.
Early exposure to proactively shaping a research roadmap for a charter.
Bachelor's or Master's in Design, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related fields. Work quality takes precedence.
