Fashion Designer

Role overview:
We are looking for a womenswear designer (Denim) with strong retail experience and a clear understanding of the end-to-end design process — from market research and concept development to range planning, sourcing, and execution. The candidate should be articulate, process-driven, and comfortable coordinating cross-functionally with buying, sourcing, and vendor teams to ensure timely and commercially viable product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
● Conduct seasonal market research, trend analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
● Develop design concepts aligned with brand vision and seasonal direction.
● Lead range planning with a strong understanding of price architecture and retail strategy.
● Work closely with buying and merchandising teams to ensure commercial relevance.
● Coordinate with sourcing teams and vendors for fabric, trims, and product development.
● Manage vendor communication and follow-ups through sampling to production.
● Create detailed tech packs, specifications, and production-ready documentation.
● Design across Denim/Streetwear categories with strong product understanding.
● Monitor sampling, fittings, and product refinement through the development cycle.
● Ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Requirement:
● 3+ years of relevant womenswear retail design experience.
● Strong knowledge of design process, sourcing cycles, and garment construction.
● Hands-on experience with range building and seasonal calendars.
● Excellent communication and coordination skills.
● Proficiency in design and presentation tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
● Strong understanding of fabric, fit, and silhouette development, illustration, and embroidery.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
