Perl Developer
Experience: 3 to 8 Years
Primary Skills: Perl Scripting, SQL/Oracle, Unix/Linux

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Perl Developer to join an Agile team working on healthcare applications and rule migration. The candidate will be responsible for developing, debugging, enhancing, and supporting applications while ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in Perl scripting and development.
Good knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases.
Experience working with Unix/Linux environments.
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and relational database technologies.
Experience in production support, application monitoring, debugging, and issue resolution.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of Java is an added advantage.
Exposure to Microservices architecture is desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, debug, test, and deploy Perl-based applications and components.
Work on rule migration and implementation for healthcare applications.
Understand existing systems, troubleshoot issues, and recommend scalable technical solutions.
Provide timely fixes and support for production issues.
Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software components.
Write unit tests and perform functional testing to ensure application quality.
Participate in code reviews, bug fixing, documentation, and regression testing.
Follow coding standards and the team's Definition of Done (DoD).
Collaborate with Technology and Product teams to align solutions with business requirements.
Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews/readouts, and retrospectives.
Preferred Experience
Experience in healthcare applications or healthcare domain will be an advantage.
Exposure to Microservices, Java, and modern application development practices is preferred.
Experience working in a production environment with monitoring and support tools.
