IT Support Engineer – UAE

Job Overview
We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide reliable technical support to users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help maintain day-to-day IT operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, good communication abilities, and practical experience supporting IT systems and end users.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first- and second-level technical support to employees.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
Manage user accounts, permissions, password resets, and access requests.
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic network connectivity issues.
Maintain IT asset and support documentation.
Monitor and respond to IT support tickets within agreed service levels.
Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT teams.
Assist with software updates, system maintenance, backups, and security procedures.
Follow company IT policies and information-security practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2–5 years of relevant IT support or technical support experience.
Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and VPN.
Experience with hardware troubleshooting and IT asset management.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or ITIL are an advantage.
