About Our Client:

The program supports major clients, including automotive manufacturers, by streamlining accounts payable functions and resolving outstanding purchase order issues, facilitating efficient supplier and internal stakeholder coordination.
About the Opportunity:
The ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSOCIATE IV is responsible for managing and resolving open purchase orders and accounts payable activities to support the PO Follow Up group. This role ensures accurate financial processing by coordinating with various internal departments and external suppliers, directly impacting the efficiency and accuracy of payment operations.
Responsibilities:
Support the PO Follow Up group by analyzing open purchase orders
Identify and resolve outstanding items requiring attention
Coordinate with plants, suppliers, requestors, and buyers to close open purchase orders
Research and resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices, receipts, and payments
Follow up on outstanding purchase orders to ensure timely resolution
Review accounts payable transactions for accuracy and compliance
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Assist with reconciliation of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
Prepare reports and perform data audits
Monitor workload and follow up on aging items
Maintain confidentiality of financial information
Uphold accuracy, professionalism, and customer service standards
Requirements:
Minimum 18 years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in accounts payable, accounting, purchasing, or procurement preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to pass internet speed test and connect via ethernet
Successful completion of criminal background check and drug test
Residency in states compliant with wage regulations; certain states and metro areas excluded
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Pay rate of $23.00 per hour; may be below some state minimum wages
Eligibility for bonuses or incentives based on business needs
