About the Opportunity:
The INTAKE CLIENT SPECIALIST is responsible for managing incoming documents to create and update client records within the Customer Relationship Management system. This role ensures timely and accurate client data processing aligned with service level agreements and agency procedures, directly supporting billing and compliance standards. The position contributes by maintaining data integrity and facilitating communication across departments.
Responsibilities:
Review incoming medical service authorizations and paperwork to create, update, or close client accounts
Correspond and follow up with agency case managers via email, state portal messaging, and phone
Troubleshoot and resolve account issues as needed
Coordinate with internal teams including logistics, customer care, billing, and compliance
Assist other departments with intake-related inquiries
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Previous data entry experience
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to problem solve promptly
Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems and search tools
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain high production and quality standards
Capability to work independently and within a team
Commitment to company policies and core values
Wired broadband internet connection (ethernet) required; no satellite, 4/5G, or DSL
Quiet workspace free from distractions
Preferred:
Some college experience or equivalent
Knowledge of medical billing terminology
Physical Requirements:
Repetitive wrist, hand, or finger motions
Prolonged sitting and stationary work
Visual perception including peripheral vision and focus adjustment
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Starting wage is $17.00 per hour with weekly pay
PTO and benefits available after 30 days of employment
