NexusCurve is hiring an experienced L2 Network Operations Engineer to support enterprise network infrastructure within a global 24x7 operations environment.
The role requires strong hands-on experience in enterprise routing, switching, data center networking, network security, load balancing, DNS/DHCP, proxy technologies, monitoring and network troubleshooting.

𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄
The L2 Network Operations Engineer will provide advanced operational support for enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring rapid incident resolution, service stability and successful execution of approved network changes.
The engineer will work closely with L1 teams, L3 SMEs, vendors, application teams and business stakeholders to maintain network performance and meet agreed SLAs.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Own and resolve network incidents escalated from L1 teams and network monitoring platforms.
• Perform technical troubleshooting, diagnostics, root-cause analysis and service restoration.
• Execute approved changes across routing, switching, firewall and load-balancing platforms.
• Provide BAU support across LAN, WAN and data center environments.
• Troubleshoot network and application connectivity issues.
• Work closely with L3 teams, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders during incidents and major outages.
• Provide clear technical updates and ensure incidents are resolved within agreed SLAs.
• Support network monitoring, event management and proactive remediation.
• Contribute to automation, process optimization, documentation and knowledge management.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to permanent remediation and service improvement.
𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀
𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴
Strong hands-on experience with:
• EIGRP, OSPF and BGP
• Cisco ACI
• Cisco NX-OS / Nexus
• VLANs
• vPC
• HSRP / VRRP
• Cisco Catalyst
• Cisco ASR / CSR
• Enterprise LAN / WAN
• Data center networking
𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀
Experience with enterprise firewall technologies, including:
• FortiGate / Fortinet – preferred
• Check Point
• Juniper
Experience with firewall troubleshooting, policies, NAT and network security operations is desirable.
𝗟𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴
Working knowledge of:
• F5 BIG-IP
• F5 LTM / GTM
• F5 VIPRION
• VIPs and Pools
• SNAT
• SSL/TLS and PKI concepts
• Application traffic management
𝗗𝗡𝗦, 𝗗𝗛𝗖𝗣 & 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘅𝘆
Experience with:
• Infoblox DNS / DHCP
• DNS and DHCP troubleshooting
• Zscaler
• Blue Coat / Proxy technologies
• Enterprise proxy and web traffic troubleshooting
𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴
Proficiency with network diagnostic and packet-analysis tools such as:
• Wireshark
• tcpdump
• traceroute / tracert
• ping
• nslookup
• dig
• TCP/IP and application connectivity troubleshooting
𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Experience with network monitoring and automation platforms such as:
• Spectrum
• NetBrain
• Observe
• Ansible
• Network monitoring / event management tools
Basic scripting and automation experience is an advantage.
𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗟 & 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
• Strong understanding of ITIL-based network operations.
• Experience with Incident, Change and Problem Management.
• Experience with Major Incident Management and SLA-driven operations.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
• Ability to perform and contribute to Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise network operations, network support or network engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in large enterprise network environments.
• Proven experience working in 24x7 global support / network operations environments.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities across routing, switching and data center networking.
• Experience with firewalls, load balancers, proxies and DNS/DHCP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure during critical incidents and outages.
• Strong ownership and accountability for assigned incidents and changes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with L1, L3, security, application and infrastructure teams.
𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀
• BFSI / Banking / Financial Services domain experience is an advantage.
• CCNA / CCNP or equivalent networking certification is an advantage.
• Experience with Python, Ansible or network automation is desirable.
• Experience supporting large global enterprise networks is highly desirable.
