Senior Solar PV Designer

Role Description The Solar PV Designer at Organo Mart is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. The individual will be responsible for designing rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems, including layout planning, module selection, and cable routing. Daily tasks include performing site assessments, preparing detailed drawings and single-line diagrams, estimating energy generation, and ensuring designs comply with relevant codes and standards. The role involves coordinating with installation teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders, as well as preparing technical documentation, proposals, and reports. The designer will also support project planning, cost optimization, and continuous improvement of system performance.
Qualifications
Strong skills in solar PV system design, including array sizing, inverter selection, and energy yield estimation.
Proficiency with design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PV design software such as PV*Sol, PVsyst, or similar).
Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, relevant safety standards, and local regulations for solar installations.
Ability to conduct technical site assessments, interpret structural and electrical drawings, and prepare accurate BOQs.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with installation teams, suppliers, and clients.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Renewable Energy, or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in solar PV projects (residential, commercial, or industrial) is highly beneficial; familiarity with sustainable practices is a plus.
