About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on AV Installation & Demo Technician who is comfortable visiting customers’ homes, installing electronics, setting up equipment, and explaining how everything works.
This role is suitable for someone who has worked with TVs, home appliances, audio/video equipment, DTH, networking, or other consumer electronics installations and wants to build a career in premium audio-video systems.
Key Responsibilities
Install and set up TVs, speakers, amplifiers, AV receivers, projectors and other AV equipment at customers’ homes.
Handle cabling, connections, mounting and basic configuration of electronic equipment.
Demonstrate the installed system to customers and explain its operation clearly.
Troubleshoot basic installation and connectivity issues.
Visit customer locations for installation, setup and service requirements.
Handle equipment carefully and maintain a professional appearance and attitude at customer sites.
Coordinate with the sales and technical team to complete installations properly.
Learn and work with premium brands and advanced home audio-video systems.
Assist senior technicians with more complex installations and gradually take ownership of installations independently.
Preferred Skills
Experience in TV/electronics/home appliance installation is preferred.
Basic understanding of electrical/electronic connections and cabling.
Soldering and desoldering knowledge is an advantage.
Comfortable using basic hand tools.
Good communication skills and ability to explain technical things to customers.
Willingness to travel to customer locations.
Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
Freshers with a genuine interest in electronics and AV equipment are welcome.
What You'll Learn
Professional installation of premium home theatre and audio systems.
AV receivers, amplifiers, speakers, projectors and subwoofers.
System configuration, calibration and troubleshooting.
Customer demonstrations and on-site service.
Installation practices used in high-end residential AV projects.
Education: ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary: ₹15,000–₹25,000 per month, depending on skills and experience.
