ABOUT THE COMPANY

Beyond its own equipment, the company installs, commissions, and services advanced imported European automation systems - including high-speed PLC-controlled, servo-driven, and load-cell-based processing and packaging lines.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a hands-on Service & Automation Engineer to support machine installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and automation development — combining field service across customer sites with in-house PLC programming, control panel development, and servo commissioning work.
Structured training will be provided on advanced imported automation equipment; within the first year, the candidate is expected to independently handle commissioning, diagnostics, repairs, operator training, and service reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Field Service & Commissioning
Install, commission, service, and repair automated industrial machinery at customer locations across India.
Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, sensor, servo, VFD, and mechanical system faults using drawings, diagnostics, and test instruments.
Perform machine calibration, parameter setting, and preventive maintenance visits.
Support emergency breakdown calls, providing rapid technical resolution.
Train customer operators and maintenance teams on operation and basic troubleshooting.
Automation & Controls Engineering
Develop, modify, and test PLC and HMI programs; configure sequences, alarms, interlocks, and safety logic.
Commission and tune servo drives, VFDs, encoders, and industrial sensors.
Work on load-cell-based weighing, dosing, and batching systems.
Design, wire, test, and commission electrical control panels, including ventilation automation support.
Ensure safe machine operation through proper electrical protection and fail-safe design.
Documentation & Support
Prepare service reports covering root cause analysis, corrective actions, and spare parts usage.
Maintain spare parts inventories and ensure compliance with electrical safety and lockout/tagout standards.
Coordinate with engineering and customer teams for timely issue resolution.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
2–7 years of hands-on experience in industrial machine commissioning, servicing, or automation, with proven work on customer sites and production machinery.
Technical Skills
PLC troubleshooting and online diagnostics (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Delta, Omron, or Schneider).
Servo drive and VFD commissioning, parameter tuning, and fault troubleshooting.
Electrical panel troubleshooting; three-phase motor systems; contactors, relays, MCBs/MCCBs, and protection systems; 24VDC control systems.
Industrial sensors and instrumentation; ability to read electrical schematics and machine manuals.
Proficiency with multimeters, clamp meters, and testing equipment; strong grounding in electrical safety and lockout/tagout practices.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Packaging, food processing, sorting/grading, or bottling & conveying equipment.
High-speed automated production machinery; load-cell calibration and weighing/batching/dosing systems.
Vision inspection systems; Modbus, Profinet, or EtherNet/IP protocols.
HVAC/ventilation control, control panel design and BOM preparation, and pneumatics.
Valid driving license and passport.
DESIRED PROFILE
Highly hands-on, technically inclined, and comfortable with extensive travel across India.
Customer-focused with strong communication skills and independent diagnostic ability.
Safety-conscious and able to work under pressure during breakdown situations, including beyond normal hours when required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Fixed annual compensation of ₹6–8.5 LPA, plus travel and daily site allowances and reimbursement of official travel expenses.
