Role Description The Business Development Manager for the Marketing Agency will focus on identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities for Maven Fly Media’s digital services. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon, involving daily engagement with prospective and existing clients through meetings, calls, and presentations. The person in this role will develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, prepare tailored proposals, collaborate with the marketing and delivery teams to create client-focused solutions, and negotiate contracts that support sustainable revenue growth. Responsibilities include market research, competitor analysis, and tracking performance metrics to optimize outreach strategies and improve conversion rates. The Business Development Manager will also represent Maven Fly Media at industry events and networking opportunities to strengthen the agency’s brand presence and partnerships.
Qualifications
Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and deal closing in a marketing or digital agency environment.
Experience with digital marketing services such as paid advertising, Google Ads, social media management, and web/app development, with the ability to translate these offerings into clear value propositions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
Ability to perform market and competitor research, analyze campaign or sales data, and use insights to refine outreach strategies and achieve growth targets.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, including maintaining a structured sales pipeline and working effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced qualification is an advantage.
Prior experience in a client-facing role within a digital marketing, advertising, or technology services company, preferably in the SMB segment.
Comfort working on-site in Gurgaon and openness to attending meetings, client visits, and industry events as required.
