Role Description This full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role is based at the NURA center in Chennai. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care during screening visits, including preparing individuals for procedures, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with AI-enabled imaging workflows as needed. Responsibilities include collecting medical histories, supporting physicians and other clinicians, administering medications when indicated, and ensuring adherence to established protocols and infection control standards. The nurse will educate patients about screening results, follow-up recommendations, and lifestyle modifications, while maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation. The role also involves coordinating appointments, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment.
Qualifications
Valid Registered Nurse license and completion of an accredited nursing program; bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
Clinical skills in patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, basic emergency response, and safe medication administration.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide compassionate care.
Ability to follow clinical protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold high standards of infection control and patient safety.
Comfort working with healthcare technology and diagnostic equipment; openness to learning AI-enabled imaging and digital workflows.
Experience in preventive care, outpatient services, or diagnostic centers is an advantage; prior oncology or lifestyle disease screening experience is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site clinical setting in Chennai, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
