Company Description NURA – Sustained Health with Active-AI Screening is a healthcare initiative created through a collaboration between Fujifilm Healthcare and Dr Kutty’s Healthcare, combining advanced AI-enabled imaging with clinical expertise. The organization focuses on regular health screening programs to detect cancers and lifestyle-related diseases at an early stage. NURA’s approach aims to identify conditions in asymptomatic individuals, helping lower health risks and improve chances of successful treatment. The network operates specialized screening centers in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Calicut, and Chennai, serving diverse urban populations and promoting proactive health management.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based at the NURA center in Kozhikode (Calicut). The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising construction, renovation, and maintenance of healthcare facilities and related infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing civil engineering drawings, coordinating with architects, contractors, and facility teams, ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards, and supporting stormwater management and site development activities. The role also involves monitoring project timelines and budgets, conducting site inspections, resolving technical issues, and preparing project reports and documentation to support safe, efficient, and sustainable healthcare environments.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Civil Engineering, with knowledge of Civil Engineering Design and core Civil Engineering principles.
Experience in project Planning for building and infrastructure works, preferably in healthcare or commercial facilities.
Understanding of Stormwater Management, drainage design, and site grading for urban environments.
Prior experience working as Civil Engineers on construction, renovation, or facility development projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
Proficiency with relevant design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, basic structural analysis software) and familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to safety, quality, and sustainability.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, communicate clearly, and manage on-site coordination with contractors and vendors.
Professional licensure or eligibility for licensure as a civil engineer is an advantage.
Prior experience in healthcare facility projects or large commercial developments is beneficial.
