Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Manager Hospital Relations role based in Surat. The Manager Hospital Relations will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with network hospitals, ensuring smooth coordination of cashless and reimbursement processes, and supporting efficient claim settlement. The role involves overseeing hospital empanelment and renewals, negotiating service terms and packages, and monitoring service quality and adherence to company policies and guidelines. The manager will work closely with internal teams such as claims, operations, and customer service to resolve escalations, improve turnaround times, and enhance the overall customer experience. Day-to-day tasks include regular hospital visits, reviewing performance metrics, conducting training or orientation for partner hospitals, and contributing to budgeting and planning for the hospital network in the assigned region.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Hospital Management and Practice Management to effectively oversee relationships and operations with network hospitals.
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to manage hospital and policyholder queries, address escalations, and support a positive service experience.
Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to assist in planning, cost monitoring, and optimizing financial arrangements with partner hospitals.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with hospital administrators, internal teams, and other stakeholders.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field are beneficial.
Experience in health insurance, hospital administration, or healthcare operations, particularly in network or provider relations, is an advantage.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-management abilities, along with proficiency in basic office and reporting tools, are desirable.
