Role Description The Filmmaking Intern will support the creative and production teams in developing and executing film projects from concept to final cut. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting with script development, pre-production planning, location scouting, and coordinating schedules and resources. The intern will help during shoots with tasks such as camera assistance, sound setup, lighting support, and behind-the-scenes documentation. Post-production responsibilities may involve organizing footage, contributing to rough cuts, supporting basic editing, and preparing content for social media or promotional use. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Mumbai, with some work-from-home flexibility depending on project needs and production schedules.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in basic filmmaking processes, including planning, production assistance, and an understanding of visual storytelling.
Candidates should possess skills in camera operation fundamentals, framing, composition, and familiarity with common filmmaking equipment.
Candidates should possess skills in video editing workflows, including organizing footage, syncing audio, and working with editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Candidates should possess skills in script reading and development support, including story sense, character understanding, and concise written communication.
