About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team at University Health. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and reporting on the fiscal operational functions of our hospital operations. Your primary focus will be on financial reporting, budgeting, operational indicators, and report writing to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with senior leadership, medical directors, and fiscal services to analyze data, develop business plans, and conduct profitability and feasibility studies. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to contribute to the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field. A minimum of four years of relevant experience, preferably within a healthcare setting, is required. A master's degree is preferred and will be considered an advantage. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and experience with financial reporting systems are essential. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively across departments, and a thorough understanding of healthcare financial operations.
Responsibilities
Management and reporting of the fiscal operational functions and report writing aspects of hospital operations. Such functions include but are not limited to financial reporting, budgeting, operational indicators, provider incentive plans, and report writing. Assists with development of business plans, profitability analysis, and feasibility studies. Also responsible for providing productivity reports and preparing other management reports as desired by leadership. Works collaboratively with University Health administration, medical directors, leadership, and fiscal services. Gather, analyze, and report information necessary for management actions. The analyst will be actively involved in the operating budget, variance analyses process, and will maintain data loads into the financial reporting system.
