Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Marketplace Manager focused on Mercado Livre and Amazon. The role involves managing product listings, optimizing titles, descriptions, and images, and ensuring accurate pricing and inventory information for both marketplaces. The Marketplace Manager will monitor sales performance, analyze metrics, and adjust strategies to improve visibility, conversion, and profitability. Daily tasks include coordinating promotions, responding to customer inquiries, managing reviews and ratings, and working closely with logistics and warehousing teams to ensure on-time order fulfillment. The role also includes identifying growth opportunities, researching competitors, and proposing new initiatives to strengthen BRIGHTGEAR’s presence on Mercado Livre and Amazon.
Qualifications
Experience managing online marketplaces (preferably Mercado Livre and Amazon), including product listing, catalog organization, and marketplace compliance.
Strong skills in e-commerce operations, such as inventory management, pricing strategies, and coordination with logistics and warehousing teams.
Ability to analyze sales data, marketplace metrics, and customer behavior to optimize performance and drive growth.
Proficiency in digital tools and platforms commonly used for marketplace management, reporting, and communication.
Excellent written communication skills for crafting clear product descriptions and professional customer responses.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple listings and tasks in a remote, part-time environment.
Familiarity with cross-border commerce between Brazil, USA, and Europe is an advantage.
Relevant experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or business operations; post-secondary education in a related field is a plus.
