Our client is a well-established, market-leading organization in the clinical space. The division builds industry-leading assessments used to identify ADHD, ADD, dyslexia, and broader areas of brain function, memory, and motor skill development across the lifespan. Its tools are trusted by clinical psychologists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, and it is widely regarded as a category leader by its competitors.
The business is in the midst of a major transformation — moving from legacy, bespoke products into a modern, SaaS-based platform ecosystem, with an established domestic model and meaningful international growth ahead. This is a sizable, high-revenue business at an inflection point, with strong existing infrastructure and a clear strategic direction, now investing in outside product and engineering leadership to accelerate execution.
The Role
This is a newly created role, formed by splitting a combined Product & Engineering leadership position into two dedicated, equally-weighted partner roles as part of a broader reorganization. This posting is for the Product leader; a parallel Engineering leader will be hired alongside it, and the two will work in close partnership.
Reporting Directly To a Senior Business Leader, This Person Will Own Product Strategy And Execution Across a Mid-sized Product Organization, Including Platform Product Managers, Subject-matter-expert Content Product Managers, And An Emerging New-product Team. You Will
Lead the organization's cross-functional product leadership forum, driving prioritization, investment recommendations, and roadmap ownership in equal partnership with Engineering leadership
Own a cost center and P&L, including budgeting, margin performance, and annual revenue planning across a large, diverse portfolio of individual assessment products
Partner closely with executive leadership to evaluate team and business performance through structured planning cycles
Represent the business externally with customers and partners, including in new partnership and deal conversations
Mature and scale an already-defined SaaS ecosystem strategy — this is an execution and maturation mandate, not a from-scratch strategy build
Help lead future growth vectors, including potential M&A integration and international expansion
Must-Have Qualifications
Proven success leading product organizations of comparable scale and complexity — large, multi-product platform portfolios with substantial P&L responsibility
Direct, hands-on experience leading a transformation from bespoke/custom products to a scalable SaaS platform model
A technical or engineering background — candidates who have operated as engineers or come from technology-first companies are strongly preferred
A demonstrated customer-driven product philosophy — building based on customer discovery and validated need, not internally-driven specs
Prior experience having already led a similar digital transformation or modernization effort (not a first-time attempt)
Pluses
Experience in HealthTech, or medical device product leadership
Experience operating in regulated or highly complex markets (healthtech, medical device, fintech, govtech)
Candidates from smaller organizations or slightly lower scope looking to step up and apply their skills at a larger scale

Base salary: ~$300,0000 + / -
Bonus: 25%+ annual target
