Jetpacks! is looking for someone to join our LatAm team as a Remote Dispatcher. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our partner’s delivery operations, providing real-time coordination with drivers and ensuring smooth delivery execution across multiple routes and shifts. You’ll communicate through various channels, monitor live delivery routes, and act as a critical point of contact to solve time-sensitive challenges.
Role responsibilities
You’ll be working for an industry leader in first-and-last mile delivery services with over 4.5 million customers! Due to the growth of our partner’s delivery services their tech team and systems have continued to expand and need to scale.
Monitor active delivery routes in real time to ensure on-time performance and identify potential issues.
Verify PODs (Proof of Delivery), including geolocation and image validation.
Handle inbound call with drivers (calls, messages) and respond to requests or incidents.
Approve geo-fence requests based on real-time needs.
Coach drivers to improve service quality and delivery compliance.
Assign shifts or create shift schedules based on daily volume and operational requirements.
What tasks will you need to complete to be successful?
Maintain clear and professional communication with drivers throughout their shifts.
Ensure PODs are properly submitted and escalate any discrepancies as needed.
Make proactive decisions based on route status and volume insights.
Support the team with dynamic shift planning to adapt to changing demands.
Coordinate driver requests, routing changes, and unforeseen events in real time.
Act quickly and effectively to resolve delivery issues as they arise.
How will you be supported?
You'll be onboarded to the tech team organization. You will be part of a team and will communicate with them via Slack and Google Meet. Periodic 1-on-1 meetings will be held to ensure you are successful and are having a productive and enjoyable experience.
Role Requirements
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Familiarity with GPS-based apps and tools that use camera capture features.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and messaging/mass-texting platforms.
Proactive, self-starter with a high level of initiative.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times.
Strong memorization skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable adapting to change in a rapidly growing company.Accountable, empathetic, and respectful in all interactions.
Collaborative team player with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Advanced English level.
Availability to work on the afternoon shift: Tuesday to Saturday | 1.30-10.30pm CT
