Role Description The Senior BI Project Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for leading end-to-end business intelligence projects, with a focus on Sisense-based solutions. This role oversees project planning, scope definition, timelines, and resource allocation while ensuring successful delivery of data warehousing, ETL, and dashboard initiatives. The Senior BI Project Manager collaborates closely with clients to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and manage stakeholder expectations. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, monitoring project risks and issues, driving status reporting, and ensuring adherence to best practices in analytics and data management. The role also involves guiding solution design, promoting data-driven decision-making, and continuously improving project delivery methodologies.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into BI solutions and actionable insights.
Experience with Data Warehousing concepts, including data modeling, data integration, and performance optimization.
Hands-on expertise in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools, including design, implementation, and maintenance of ETL pipelines.
Proficiency in Dashboard design and development, ideally within Sisense or similar BI platforms, with a focus on usability and performance.
Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, execution, stakeholder communication, risk management, and delivery of BI initiatives.
Experience leading remote, cross-functional teams and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Background in business intelligence, data analytics, or related fields; experience with Sisense or comparable BI solutions is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum, BI tools) are a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data concepts clearly and concisely.
