Concurrent Audit Associate

Role Summary
The Associate – Concurrent Inventory Audit plays a critical role in safeguarding physical and high-value artwork assets by conducting real-time verification of all inward and outward inventory movements. Reporting on system-to-physical reconciliations and warehouse SOP compliance, the role executes physical stock checks, inspects artwork condition and tagging, and tracks control exceptions. Designed for an independent, data-savvy professional with 2–4 years of audit experience (semi-qualified CA preferred), this position ensures complete inventory accuracy, mitigates operational risk, and maintains continuous audit readiness across global warehouse locations through Advanced Excel and data analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities
· Concurrent verification of inward inventory movement
· Concurrent verification of outward inventory dispatches
· Verification of supporting documents and approvals
· Physical verification of inventory
· Verification of artwork condition and tagging
· Weekly reconciliation between physical inventory and system records
· Reporting inventory discrepancies and process deviations immediately
· Monitoring compliance with warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
· Maintaining audit working papers and records
· Work independently with only limited direction and guidance
· Build positive working relationships with stakeholders including the internal stakeholders
· Contribute to a team-oriented and continuous improvement environment

Must Have Skills and Experience
· A bachelor's or Master degree in accounting or finance or business administration
· 1-3 years of experience of auditing standards, Inventory audit, financial reporting, and internal control frameworks within Consumer or Art industry preferred
· Intermediate CA qualified / Semi-qualified CA preferred
· Good general compliance expertise, including areas such as internal controls
· Fair understanding of compliance frameworks such as COSO standards
· Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate independently and effectively across various team located within and outside India.
· Advanced Excel skills such as Power BI, data analytics is preferred.
