She Starts is looking for a Hindi-speaking Academic Counsellor to support prospective learners in understanding suitable courses and making informed decisions about their learning journey. The selected candidate will be responsible for communicating with leads, understanding their requirements, explaining relevant programmes and supporting them through the enrolment process.
This is a full-time remote opportunity suited to someone with strong Hindi communication skills, a learner-focused approach and an interest in counselling, education and admissions. The role will involve regular interaction with prospective students through assigned communication channels and requires consistent follow-up and professional communication.
Key Responsibilities
Connect with prospective learners through assigned communication channels and understand their educational and career requirements.
Explain relevant courses, programmes, curriculum, learning structure and enrolment processes clearly.
Counsel prospective learners based on their interests, requirements and suitability for available programmes.
Respond to enquiries and provide accurate information about courses and the learning process.
Conduct timely follow-ups with interested leads and maintain regular communication throughout the counselling process.
Maintain accurate lead and counselling records in the assigned system or dashboard.
Track lead status, follow-up dates, enrolment progress and relevant communication details.
Address routine questions and coordinate with the relevant team when additional information or support is required.
Work towards assigned counselling and enrolment targets while maintaining professional communication.
Share regular updates and reports regarding lead follow-ups, conversions and pending enquiries.
Skills and Requirements
Strong **Hindi communication skills**, both verbal and written.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand learner requirements and provide appropriate course information.
Strong counselling, persuasion and relationship-building abilities.
Good follow-up and lead management skills.
Comfortable working with CRM systems, spreadsheets or online dashboards.
Basic computer and internet proficiency.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Prior experience in academic counselling, admissions, sales or customer-facing roles would be relevant.
What You Will Be Doing
As an Academic Counsellor, you will communicate with prospective learners, understand their requirements and guide them towards suitable learning programmes. You will be responsible for explaining programme details, handling enquiries, conducting follow-ups and maintaining accurate records of your interactions.
The role requires regular communication with leads and consistent follow-up to support the enrolment process. You will work remotely while coordinating with the relevant team and maintaining updates on assigned leads and counselling activities.
Compensation
Salary: ₹7,000 per month + Incentive
