She Starts is looking for a Software Tester Trainer to deliver practical and structured training in software testing. The trainer will be responsible for helping learners understand software testing concepts, testing methodologies, quality assurance practices and practical testing workflows.
This is a part-time remote training opportunity suited to someone with a good understanding of software testing who enjoys teaching, mentoring and explaining technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner. The trainer will work with learners in a structured online learning environment and support their understanding through practical examples, activities and guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver structured online training sessions on software testing and quality assurance concepts.
Explain software testing fundamentals, testing methodologies and standard testing processes clearly.
Guide learners through practical software testing scenarios and examples.
Teach concepts such as test planning, test cases, test execution, defect identification and reporting, as relevant to the training curriculum.
Demonstrate practical approaches to identifying, documenting and communicating software defects. Conduct exercises, assignments or practical activities to reinforce learning.
Clarify learner questions and provide constructive feedback during training sessions.
Monitor learner participation and understanding throughout the programme. Help learners connect theoretical testing concepts with practical software testing situations.
Coordinate with the relevant team regarding session planning, learner progress and training requirements.
Skills and Requirements
Good knowledge of software testing and quality assurance concepts.
Understanding of software testing methodologies and testing processes.
Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, structured and learner-friendly manner.
Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to conduct engaging and interactive online training sessions.
Practical understanding of test cases, defect reporting and software testing workflows.
Good organisation and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
What You Will Be Doing
As a part-time trainer, you will conduct scheduled online sessions and guide learners through software testing concepts and practical activities. The role involves explaining technical topics, answering questions, facilitating exercises and helping learners develop a practical understanding of software testing.
You will be expected to prepare adequately for assigned sessions, communicate professionally with learners and coordinate with the relevant team to ensure that training activities are delivered effectively. The role requires consistency, clear communication and a learner-focused approach.
Compensation
Salary: ₹ 7,000 per month
