Position Title: Snowflake Data Architect
Location: Gurgaon / Bangalore / Pune
Key Responsibilities
Snowflake Architecture & Administration
Design & Implement: Independently architect Snowflake databases, schemas, warehouses, RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), and workload management.
Optimize Performance: Configure and fine-tune Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Materialized Views, Clustering, and Time Travel features.
Troubleshoot: Resolve complex platform and query performance issues directly from the Snowflake portal.
Data Modeling & Pipeline Engineering
Data Design: Build robust dimensional and normalized data models tailored to complex financial domain needs.
Framework Implementation: Architect and manage Medallion (Bronze–Silver–Gold) data layers for scalable, multi-stage pipelines.
Pipeline Automation: Construct and maintain end-to-end data pipelines leveraging dbt for transformations, Python for automation, and Airflow / ADF for orchestration.
Integration & Cloud Operations
Ingestion: Consume REST/SOAP APIs to extract and ingest enterprise datasets.
Enterprise Connectivity: Seamlessly connect Snowflake with external ecosystems including Salesforce, SAP, CRMs, ERPs, and major cloud services.
Cloud Infrastructure: Integrate Snowflake with cloud-native storage, compute, and ingestion services (AWS/Azure) while maintaining cost-efficient operations.
Snowflake Mastery: Advanced expertise in Snowflake implementation, administration, data sharing, and utilizing the Snowflake Marketplace for third-party datasets.
Tool Stack Proficiency: Deep hands-on experience with dbt, Python, SQL, and orchestration platforms (Apache Airflow / Azure Data Factory).
Cloud Ecosystems: Strong working exposure to Azure or AWS cloud data pipelines.
Domain Awareness: Experience working within the financial services domain is highly preferred but not mandatory.
